In accordance with the terms of the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998 as amended in 1999, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) was the first university to be created. The University is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
It is a teaching and affiliating colleges that specifically aims to facilitate and promote studies, research and extension work in developing fields of higher education with a focus on professional education, such as Engineering, Information Technology, Management Studies, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Education, and Law, as well as to achieve excellence in these and related fields and other issues that are related to or incidental to them.
GGSIP University offers various undergraduate Programmes like; BA LLB(H), BBA LLB(H), BBA, BBA(CAM), BCA, B.COM(H) followed by Postgraduate programmes like; LLM,Doctoral, and Diploma programmes across a range of fields through its affiliated university schools, government institutions, and self-financing colleges.Â
The first week of March 2023 is predicted to see the release of IPU Admissions 2023.
So basically, For undergraduate and graduate programmes, the institution accepts applications in January; for integrated and research programmes, it does so in March.
Eligibility Criteria
-Pass in 12th class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.Â
-Must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.Â
Admissions Criteria
-All applicants are required to appear in Common Law Admission Test – Under Graduate, 2022 conducted by Consortium of National Law Universities and shall be utilized by the university as merit prepared on the basis of CLAT – UG2023for its admissions.Â
-Must register with GGSIPU for admission in UG Law Courses.
Eligibility Criteria
-Pass in 12th class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of best four subjects (unless otherwise specified) including English.
-Must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.Â
Admissions Criteria
-All applicants are required to appear in Common Law Admission Test – Under Graduate, 2022 conducted by Consortium of National Law University’s and shall be utilized by the university as merit prepared on the basis of CLAT – UG, 2022 for its admissions.Â
Eligibility Criteria
LL.B Degree as required by the Bar Council of India for Enrollment as an Advocate or an equivalent Law Degree from a Foreign University, with not less than 55% marks.
Admissions Criteria
-All applicants are required to appear in Common Law Admission Test – Postgraduate, 2023 (CLAT – PG-2023) that is conducted by Consortium of National Law University’s and shall be utilized by the university as merit prepared on the basis of CLAT – PG, 2023 for its admissions.

- Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of best 4 subjects and must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.

Admission shall be on the basis of the merit of the CUET Exam.Â

 - English Language & Comprehension – (25%)Â
 - General Awareness- (25%)
 - Logical and Analytical Ability- (25%)Â
 - Aptitude relating to the field of Management and Communication Skills- (25%)
Eligibility Criteria:Â
-50% in aggregate in 10+2 examination / senior school certificate examination of C.B.S.E. as minimum marks for admission to B.Com in five subjects (One language and four elective subjects) or an examination recognized as equivalent to that.Â
(i) Pre-University Examination (Two years after ten years of schooling) of an Indian school / college. OR Intermediate Examination of an Indian University / Board or an Examination recognized as equivalent to that (Pass in Five written subjects)Â
(ii) Indian School Certificate Examination (12 years) conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi (Pass in Five written subjects).Â
(iii) Examination of a foreign University / Board which is recognized as equivalent to 10+2 CBSE examination/or Indian university.
Admissions Criteria:

-Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of the best 4 subjects with pass in English (core or elective or functional) and Mathematics or (Computer Science / Informatics Practice / Computer Applications / Multimedia & Web Technology / Data Management Application / Web Application as compulsory subject of non-vocational stream with 50 theory and 50 practical ratio). OR Three year Diploma in a branch of Engineering from a polytechnic duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to a recognized examining body with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.Â
