The BBA LL.B (H) programme is divided into ten semesters with a duration of five months each. Each semester comprises of theory subjects. In addition to this, every semester has a Comprehensive Viva equal to the weightage of one paper. After 4th, 6th and 8th Semester, students have to undergo a Compulsory Summer Internship for one month and on that, a report has to be submitted by each student separately. In the tenth semester, students have to submit their dissertation. After the completion of internship by the students, the work done by the students as recorded in his/her daily diary along with a consolidated internship report would be evaluated by a Board of examiners consisting of Dean, an External Examiner, one faculty member nominated by APC and the supervisor concerned.
An academic year shall be apportioned into two semesters. Each of the two semesters shall be of working duration of about 21 weeks, as per the following breakup-
Imparting of Teaching : 17 Weeks
Preparatory Leave : 1 week
Semester End Term Examination (including Comprehensive Viva) : 3 weeks
There shall be a break of 2 weeks after every odd semester and vacation of approximately 6 weeks after every even semester. We also offer BA LLB(H) and Legum Magister or LLM course for our students.
