GGSIPU Admission 2024 Procedure
The Admissions of 2023-24 were carried out strictly on merit basis through a Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University for BBA, BBA (CAM), B.Com(H) & BCA as Primary mode of Admission & Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by NTA as Secondary mode. Admissions for A.S. 2024-25 shall be carried out in same manner. The admission in B.A.LL.B(H) & BBA LL.B(H) are carried out on merit basis through a Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) conducted by Consortium of on National Law University (NLUs) as Primary mode of Admission & Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) as Secondary mode. Online Registration is Mandatory for Admission in GGSIPU. The University Conduct Central Counselling for all the colleges affiliated with it for 90% seats except for Management Quota seats. Students are required to choose the college/institute during the choice filling. The College conducts admission through Management Quota also as 10% of the total intake in each programme are allotted as Management Quota seats. Candidates seeking admission to Management Quota seats are to satisfy below mentioned eligibility criteria. Additionally, candidates need to qualify the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University(GGSIPU)/Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) / Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) & Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) respectively for the concerned programme. The merit for admission is drawn on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination, i.e., 10+2 and the Rank Secured in CET/CUET/ CLAT Examination. Bachelor of Business Administration (General) – BBA(G)
Candidates should have at least 50% (Best of 4 including English) in the qualifying Examination (10+2).
Candidate should have qualified Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University(GGSIPU) or Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA)
Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University(GGSIPU) or Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for BBA, BCA & B.Com(H) courses is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) & admission as per the rules and guidelines of GGSIP University, Delhi (www.ipu.ac.in)
It is mandatory to appear in CET/CUET & qualify the same for admission GGSIP University affiliated colleges
Bachelor of Business Administration (Computer Aided Management) – BBA(CAM)
Bachelor of Computer Applications – BCA
Candidates should have at least 50% (Best of 4 including English as language) in the qualifying Examination (10+2) with Maths or Computer Science / Information Practice / Computer Application / Multimedia & Web Technologies / Data Management Application / Web Application as one of the Compulsory subject.
Candidate should have qualified Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University(GGSIPU) or Common Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University(GGSIPU) or Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA)
Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) – B.COM(H)
Candidates should have at least 50% (Best of 5 subjects including English) in the qualifying Examination (10+2)
Candidate should have qualified Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University(GGSIPU) or Common Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University(GGSIPU) or Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA)
Bachelor of Arts and Legislative Law(Hons) (B.A. LL.B(H))
Candidates should have at least 50% (Best of 4 including English) in the qualifying Examination (10+2)
It is mandatory for all applicants to appear in Under Graduate Common Law Admission Test (UG CLAT 2024), conducted by Consortium of National law Universities or Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA)
Applicant also have to fill Application form and register for B.A.LL.B(H)/ BBALL.B(H) Course of GGSIP University (www.ipu.ac.in)
The GGSIP University shall consider the merit prepared on the basis of Common Law Admission
Bachelor of Business Administration and Legislative Law(Hons) (BBA LL.B(H))
Master of Laws-LL.M Duration – 1 Year
Candidates should have completed their LL.B Degree as required by the Bar Council of India or an equivalent Law Degree from a Recognized University with at least 55% score. Candidates belonging to SC/ST Category must have secured at least 45% in aggregate in their qualifying degree examination.
All applicants are required to appear in Post Graduate Common Law Admission Test (PG CLAT 2024) that is conducted by Consortium of National law Universities on a Rotational Basis. The University shall not conduct its own CET for Admissions, but shall be utilizing the merit prepared on the basis of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT – PG) Merit for its admissions. It is Mandatory to Register for LL.M programmes with GGSIPU.
Applicants must register online with GGSIPU for seeking admission in LL.M Course.
