The BCA Course aims at inculcating essential skills information technology and compiler application as demanded by the global software industry through interactive learning process. This also includes Team-Building Skills, Audio- Visual Presentations and Personality Development Programmes. The programme enhances analytical and communication skills besides inculcating the virtues of self-study. The programme is divided into eight semesters with two semesters in one academic year. Each semester has a working duration of about 21 weeks as per the following breakup.
Imparting of Teaching : 17 Weeks
Preparatory Leave : 1 week
Semester End Examination (including Practical) : 3 weeks
There is a break of 2 weeks after every odd semester and vacation of approximately 6 weeks after even semester. You can also check our other programmes for example B.COM(H), BBA(G).

Candidate should have atleast 50% (Best of 4 subjects, including English) in the qualifying examination (10+2) with Maths or Computer Science/ Information Practice/ Computer Application/ Multimedia & Web Technologies/ Data Management Application/ Web Application as one of the Compulsory subject
Basic concepts of IT are imparted to the students. BCA provides understanding and skills related to the use of computer and its applications. The basic objective of the programme is to open a channel of admission for computing courses for students, who have done 10+2 and are interested in taking computing as a career.
At CPJ College, faculty is chosen with great care keeping in mind the diversity of the programme. Ample time for practicals is provided to the students in well-equipped computer labs. In the fourth semester, students are assigned with some topic for research and are asked to write a term paper on their study.
Some of the distinguished features of BCA programme at CPJ College are Colloquium Series, Summer Projects, Tech Byte, Guest lectures and Workshops etc.
The Institute provides Training / Certification Course on latest IT packages during every summer vacation to its students as a part of their summer project.
