CHANDERPRABHU JAIN COLLEGE OF HIGHER STUDIES & SCHOOL OF LAW
The B.A. LL.B (H) programme is divided into ten semesters with a duration of five months each. Each semester comprises of theory subjects educational and Historical court visit and internship. In addition to this, every semester has a Comprehensive Viva equal to the weightage of one paper. After 4th, 6th and 8th Semester, students have to undergo a Compulsory Summer Internship for one month and on submission of reports on visit is compulsory for each student as per record maintained in his/her dairy.
The reports evaluation is to be done by the board of examinors consists of Dean, and external examination and one faculty member nominated by APC and the supervisor concerned.
An academic year shall be apportioned into two semesters and Each of the two semesters shall have the of working duration of about 21 weeks, as per the following breakup-
Imparting of Teaching : 17 Weeks
Preparatory Leave : 1 week
Semester End Term Examination (including Comprehensive Viva) : 3 weeks.

This course provides insight into the policy initiatives within the framework of the Constitution and integrates legal studies with aspects of governance. The course is designed not only with the objective of encompassing knowledge of Law but also to teach subjects like English, Sociology, Economics, Political Science and History. These courses help to understand how central and state governments function and how legislations are enacted and enforced.
