The CPJ Global Review / CPJ Law Journal aims at publishing research that is original and in accordance with the scholarly integrity of the journal. Authors are requested to abide by ethical duties and responsibilities to help maintain the scholarly integrity of the journal.

Before submitting manuscripts, authors are required to read and understand our ethics policy. Authors must be honest in presenting the results and conclusions of their research. Research misconduct is harmful to knowledge, as it could mislead other researchers. Submitted papers, articles, book reviews, case studies, etc., may be subjected to an anti-plagiarism check to detect any possible overlapping or similarity in content. This is part of our commitment to preventing ethical misconduct, which is a growing problem in academic and professional publications. In case any such content is found to be similar, the manuscript may be rejected.

    Ethical Duties of the Authors:

    The authors:

    1. Shall ensure that all work submitted is original, and any content requiring acknowledgement is fully referenced. The author shall disclose the source of all data and third-party material. Reproducing text from the work of others without proper acknowledgment or producing multiple papers with the same content (self-plagiarism) is not acceptable. Submitting the same conclusions and suggestions to multiple journals concurrently is unethical.
    2. Shall provide accurate contact details for the corresponding author, who shall be responsible for the authorship and correspondence related to the manuscript's originality. This includes any queries or investigations related to the submission.
    3. Shall ensure that there are no duplicate submissions, i.e., the same manuscript should not be submitted to multiple journals simultaneously.
    4. Shall submit a duly filled and signed copyright form upon the confirmation of acceptance, transferring the copyright to the publisher of the journal.
    5. Must present results and conclusions honestly, based on their research. Any inferences borrowed from other works should be properly referenced.
    6. Shall be willing to cooperate and comply with any requests made by the editor and publisher regarding the source of data, proof of authorship or originality, etc. Authors are obligated to inform and cooperate with journal editors to provide prompt correction of errors in their published or unpublished works.
    7. Can expect transparency, efficiency, and integrity from the publisher and the editor during the review and submission process.
    8. If any approval is required from third parties for the reproduction of their authored content, the approval must be obtained and submitted with the manuscript.
    Ethical Duties of the Editor(s)

    The editors:

    1. Shall maintain the integrity and fairness required by the journal.
    2. Shall protect the reputation of the journal and publish work that is of high quality, intellect, and contemporary relevance.
    3. Shall give due consideration to all significant contributors, ensuring they are cited as authors. All individuals contributing to the work should be acknowledged. Articles should include a full list of the current institutional affiliations of all authors, both academic and corporate.
    4. Shall ensure thorough, objective, and confidential peer review for all submissions, ensuring they meet the required quality check and editorial assessment at the initial stages.
    5. Shall provide fair and impartial review and publication processes, respecting the authors.
    6. Shall give prompt responses to all communications initiated by the authors, providing necessary recommendations. Editors will communicate acceptance or rejection of submissions to authors promptly and provide reasonable explanations and updates during and after the submission process.
    7. Shall accept papers based only on merit, quality, and relevance. They should abstain from decisions based on personal preferences.
    8. Shall ensure that all third-party permissions have been obtained by the authors. In case such permissions have not been obtained, the editor shall remind the author to address the issue. If no permissions are obtained, the discrepancy shall be communicated to the publisher.
    9. Shall maintain good communication with both the publisher and the authors.
    The Review Committee and Ethics:
    The Journal and Ethics:

    The journal shall:

In case any work is found to be unethical or plagiarized, the journal reserves the right to conduct a fair and transparent investigation. Depending on the outcome, the manuscript may be rejected or the author may be asked to resubmit. If the paper is already published when unethical behavior is discovered, the journal reserves the right to retract the article with an explanatory statement.
