Farewell Party :
College Farewell parties are always an exciting affair and bring alive a
lot of happy memories. CPJ-CHS and School of Law organized a Farewell Party
to bid adieu to the outgoing students of 2009-2012 batch on 10th May, 2012.
The function started with Saraswati Vandana. While the girl
students were decked up in saris, the boys complemented them in formals. The
function comprised of several dance and singing performances. A fashion show
put up by the juniors gave the seniors an opportunity to showcase their
talent on the ramp wherein the aspirants were adjudged for Mr. and Miss CPJ
by a panel of three Judges namely Ms. Poonam Khurana, Dr. Vimal Agarwal and
Mr. K.B.Asthana. Finally, after four rounds, the judges declared the names
of winners. Mr. Rahul Saini was declared as Mr. CPJ and Miss Nidhi Gupta was
titled as Miss CPJ. Honourable Director, Prof. J.P. Mohla congratulated the
winners and presented mementoes to the winner.
After this contest, Director, Prof. J.P. Mohla presented mementoes to
students and motivated them to work hard so as to achieve their goals in
Dr Vimal Agarwal (HOD Management), Dr Shashi Bala (HOD Law), Ms. Deepmala
Jain (Programme Coordinator-BBA), Ms. Tripti Toor (Programme Coordinator,
BBA-CAM) and Ms. Ekta Gupta (Programme Coordinator-BCA), Ms Simmi Virk
(Programme Coordinator-BA LLB (Hons.) wished all the final year outgoing
CPJians good luck for success in their life.
CPJ College of Higher studies & School of Law organized a Cultural fest
on 29th March, 2012 at 12.30 pm. The fest comprised of various events such
as Quiz Competition and Poster Making. The function started with the
Saraswati Vandana by the students and thereafter Prof. J.P. Mohla (Director)
addressed the students.
The following events were organized in the cultural fest :
Masti Ki Pathshala :
The Guest for the event was Ms. Upasana Bakshi, a TV anchor from the famous
TV channel Aaj Tak. She organized the event for T.V show Masti ki
Pathshala for the channel Delhi Aaj Tak. She interacted with the
students & shot various dance performances, songs & different
activities of the students for the TV show which were also aired on TV
channel Delhi Aaj Tak on 2nd April, 2012.
Quiz Competition :
The first activity Quiz Competition VIOM(Versatile,
Inquisitive, Occult and Mastermind) included six teams namely Jack of all
trades, Brain Teaser, Mastermind, Smart Challenger, Knowledge Gurus and Born
Genius. The quiz comprised of questions from various subjects/fields. Five
thematic rounds with buzzers lighting up, rapid fire, brand recognition and
audio-visual rounds kept the participants and the audience rapt with
attention. The winning team was Jack of all trades which included the
students namely Mr. Ashish Kumar (B.A.LL.B-H, IInd semester), Mr.K.P.
Shivaramakrishnan (B.A.LL.B-H, IInd semester) and Ms. Bhavneet Arora
(B.A.LL.B-H, IInd semester). The whole event was truly educative and
Color Mosaic-Poster Making :
Poster making event Color Mosaic was based on the theme Changing
Lifestyle and the Attitude. Six teams participated in the poster
making. Each team comprised of three students. The time given to them for
the preparation of the poster was 1 ½ hours.
The winning team poster was a blend of difference in dressing patterns of
earlier times and modern, transport means, education system and food habits.
Ms. Sakshi (B.A.LL.B (Hons.), VIthsemester), Ms. Ravleen (B.A.LL.B-H, IInd
semester) and Ms. Ayushi, (B.A.LL.B-H, IInd semester) were adjudged as
member of the winning team.
