CHANDERPRABHU JAIN COLLEGE OF HIGHER STUDIES & SCHOOL OF LAW
CPJ College is well established in an eco-friendly one 4154.29 sq mtrs of area lush green campus, with ultra-modern facilities and centrally air-conditioned state of art infrastructure. It has Wi-Fi enabled campus equipped with Cloud Computing & powered by ‘Learning Management System’ (iLearn). The Campus has spacious, airy and well lit air-conditioned lecture halls / classrooms / lecture theatres, seminar rooms, multi lab computer centers, well stocked libraries and other essential academic infrastructural facilities as per GGSIP University norms. Energy conservation system is in place with Smart Boards and Projectors. The multi-storied building of the college with Built up area of 9401.316 sq. mtrs has a spacious auditorium, a corporate development cell meant for placement activities, faculty cabins, cafeteria, Boys and Girls Common Rooms and Moot Court.
The College has spacious and fully air conditioned Class Rooms that are airy, well ventilated and have an adequate natural light with broad corridors on each floor. All the class rooms have been designed to use the ICT that makes the teaching more effective with the help of overhead LCD Projectors. Virtual learning facilities are provided to make curriculum more dynamic and effective. With regard to classroom teaching, tutorial sessions are conducted after the class hours to help students clarify doubts and gain a deeper understanding of the subject matter. The college has a state of the art fully air conditioned auditorium that can house an audience of 250 people. Located in the basement of the college campus, it is equipped with the latest modern gadgetry that includes a wall-sized projector display and audio-visual system. Having separate dressing room for participants in cultural events, it meets all the security parameters w.r.t. fire, emergency exit etc. The Auditorium remains the central venue for all the major events of the college round the year. It acts as a common ground for students, faculty and corporate personalities for regular intersections, Conferences, Workshops, Seminars, Guest Lectures and other events. The auditorium blooms in festivity during College’s Cultural and Extra-curricular events like Orientation Day, Freshers’ Party, Janmashthmi, Teacher’s Day, Diwali Fest and Farewells etc.

The college uses powerful computers for providing support of diverse computing requirement. The computer labs have access to bibliographic database and archives for rapid retrieval of relevant information and for updating and dissemination of academic oriented research material. They have Microsoft Campus Agreement and Software like Oracle, Microsoft/Visual Studio, .NET, MSDN etc. The machines in the computer labs are in good numbers so as to ensure availability of one machine to each student. All PCs are connected to LAN and internet facility is available round the clock.

The college has two separate libraries, one for the Management, Commerce & IT (MCIT) Wing while the other for the Law Department. Both the libraries are well equipped with a wide collection of reference and text books for students and faculty. The fully computerized and air-conditioned libraries provide an ideal and peaceful ambience for undistracted pursuit of knowledge and skills for the students. The MCIT Library has comprehensive and assorted collection of literature, predominantly related to Management, IT and Commerce. The Law Library has all the relevant books and online literature to be referred by the law students like Manupatra& AIR etc. Both libraries are subscribing to National & International Journals and facilitating the students through the Book Bank wherein books are issued to students for the entire semester. The college is also a member of the DELNET Consortium.
The CPJ School of Law has got a well-furnished Moot Court Hall which is like a practical Court room for students to get accustomed to the atmosphere of courts as well as improve their skills in law and advocacy of law. In a Moot Court, a hypothetical case is given to the students and they are allowed to argue on the given case after proper preparations. It helps the students of law in many ways, since it is sort of practical law training & thus help the students to do analytical reasoning, develop legal aptitude, team-building skills and above all, making them responsive to different situations which require perfect setting for the real court scenarios.
The Conference Hall is located on the ground floor of the college campus and can accommodate more than 100 students and faculties. The hall is fully air-conditioned and is equipped with overhead LCD projectors with a wall-sized display. The hall is specially designed with digital board to make the sessions more interactive for our students. It is generally used for holding Intra-College Meetings, Seminars, Guest Lectures, PDPs and FDPs etc. The Hall is a happening place during the College’s Law and Management Festivals when diverse competitive events take place and give a different fervor to it. Every CPJian would surely recall one’s cherished moments spent at the Conference Hall most fondly.
